What makes us who we are?
Why do we think the way we think? Feel the way we feel? React the way we react—even when we wish we wouldn’t?
These are the questions that keep me up at night. And honestly? I love them for it.
Welcome to Mind Unmuted — a space where we explore the beautiful, messy, fascinating world of the human mind. No jargon. No judgment. Just honest, curious conversations about mental health and what it means to be human.
I’m a certified associate psychologist, accredited by the Kenya Counselling and Psychological Association. But beyond the credentials, I’m someone who genuinely believes that understanding your mind is one of the most powerful things you can do for yourself.
This blog is where I share what I’m learning — through study, through practice, and through lived experience. My hope is that every post helps you to:
- Make sense of complex psychological ideas — in plain, everyday language
- Build awareness around mental health topics that matter
- Challenge the stigma that still keeps too many people silent
- Find community in the shared work of growing and healing
Whether you’re here out of pure curiosity, navigating something personal, or simply trying to understand yourself a little better, you belong here.
And if you’re craving deeper conversation, come hang out on the Mind Unmuted podcast, where we bring these ideas to life through real, unfiltered dialogue.
Here’s what I know for certain: none of us have it all figured out. We’re all works in progress, and that’s not a flaw; it’s the whole point.
So let’s figure it out together. 💙
Disclaimer: Everything shared here is meant to inform and inspire, not to replace professional care. If you’re in crisis or dealing with serious mental health concerns, please reach out to a qualified mental health or medical professional.
The main changes I made: opened with punchy questions to hook the reader immediately, made the tone feel more like a conversation between friends, added light emphasis to key phrases, and softened the closing disclaimer while keeping it clear. The structure mirrors your original, so it’s easy to paste in!
